Typography, Flexography and Digital Printing

SOFTWARE :
- Adobe Illustrator CS4, Adobe Photoshop CS4, XPress 6.1
- Recording format: .eps, .ai, .tiff, .jpg, in 300 dpi
- .pdf documents will only be used to preview
- Documents which have been recorded under office software such as Microsoft Word, CorelDraw, … Adobe InDesign and Artpro will systematically be denied
CONTRAINTS :
- Enter in Illustrator. We do not consider any text from Adobe InDesign, Quark Xpress or Adobe Photoshop, for multiapplying reasons, dissociation spot and anamorphosis
- Import Photoshop files at 100% actual size, without forgetting to supply with the native file
- Foresee 1,5 mm of lost bottoms (see below)
- Foresee 1,5 mm within the cutting without any text (see below)
- Any document has to be supplied with its typeface file (screen + printing) or in a vectorized format
- Any document has to be in CMJN mode (+ direct tone coat if there is)
- 300dpi minimum resolution
- For Adobe Photoshop documents, please do not flatten the tracing paper for chromatic marks
TECHNICAL DATA :
- Be careful : in typography and flexography, screen abrupt change of tones are visible. The minimum reproducible point to be printed is 3 % and the maximum is 95 %. Over, it is flat tint, i.e. 100 %
- Text in quadrichrome format, 6 pts as a minimum
- Overprintings are provided by us
- We print barcodes : please supply us with numbers and kinds
- Supply of a color proof reference (Cromalin or similar) approved by the client.
Any other color printing will no be considered as a reference. The printing will be done as best as possible regarding components in possession, without guaranteeing an exact duplication
- Color possibilities :
| Flexography = | 7 color printing’s elements (or 6 colors + varnish) |
| Typography = | 6 color printing’s elements + 1 varnish printing group. |
| Digital = | Hexachrome color or quadrichrome (for duplication of direct tones
+ varnish + opaque white |
The label format
LABEL FORMAT AND GENERICS :
The label format is always in the same order : STRIP x ADVANCE
i.e. :115mm x 85mm
